About projectPG.org
Pacific Grove, CA
is located on the Monterey Peninsula in Central California, USA
projectPG.org is a FREE community information network designed
to help citizens, community organizations, civic leaders and local businesses
organize and distribute community related information using a centralized database.
The Centralized Directory of Businesses, Schools, Non-Profits, Government boards and commissions, Churches and
other community groups is maintained by community members.
Citizens use the centralized database to easily find and do community service,
recruit help for community based projects and promote community events.
The goal is to empower all members
of the community to embrace modern technology without the threat of complication.
Project Pages are created by citizens, government leaders and businesses
and associated with an organization in the directory. An automated information
distribution process helps keep the community informed.
The system is incredibly un-complicated and easy to use.
Offering benefits to ALL members of the community (not just the tech savvy)
requires LESS sophistication and MORE simplicity.
Keeping information online is an easier and more efficient way to access,
organize and store important community information but must be accessible to the largest amount
of people possible. Simplicty is critically important.
projectPG.org has a wide range of visitors, including students, citizens,
small businesses and large organizations. Community members are encouraged to complete the FREE registration
process so they can help populate the community database.
projectPG.org
continues to challenge the traditional methodologies for information storage and retrieval. By
listening intently to loyal Pacific Grove community members and supporting
their needs, we work hard to consistently improve the reliability and ease of use of our service.
We strongly encourage every member of the community to get involved, stay involved
and help Pacific Grove! We welcome any and all feedback.
